WHO WE SERVE:  Residents of Benton County

 

BOARD MEMBERS:

 

EMPLOYEES:  None

 

VOLUNTEERS:   36+           These volunteers are on the Board or work at the Center, sorting clothes and other donations, filling food orders, ordering food from Second Harvest, unloading trucks, and assisting clients in various ways.

 

HOURS OF OPERATION:

            Monday:  1 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm

            Thursday: 10 – 3 pm

 

BOARD MEETING:

            3rd Thursday of January, April, May, July (annual meeting) September, November

FUNDING SOURCES:

            Cash and food donations come from the public, area churches, schools, area civic groups,

            And other groups and businesses in the area.

 

SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK:

            Food is ordered from the food bank each month.  For every dollar donated, $9.00 worth

            of food can be purchased from the food bank.

(Other expenses include rent, phone, mileage, garbage, electric and heat, etc.  This amount could be less next year because of changes that have been made.)

INDIVIDUALS SERVED WITH CLOTHING, ETC.:       4560 Visits

(Our goal is to have available good used clothing and household items for anyone who has need of it, without any charge or limits.)
